One of my Documentary Photographs has been published in the German Newspaper 'Frankfurter Rundschau' on the 11th of February 2017.
I covered the EPP demonstration in London Canary Wharf in 2016 and in Berlin in January 2017.
EPP or Erythropoetische Protoporphyrie is a genetic disease affecting one person out of 100 000. Patients suffer acute pain and severe burns when exposed to sunlight or halogen lights.
There is a now a treatment and after the London demonstration in 2016 it got released in the Netherlands. Now, the EPP fight goes on in Germany.

One of my pictures of the EPP demonstration was published on the website of the 'Westfälirche Nachrichten' Newspaper from the 7th of May 2017.
"We asked Annie to document our protest march to the headquarter of the European Medicines Agency in London in April 2016 and to the German Ministry of Health in Berlin in January 2017. As we are affected by a rare genetic condition called “erythropoietic protoporphyria”, we have to be protected by cloth and umbrellas against every ray of visible light - it must have been a real challenge for her to make the pictures! However, her photos were very insightful and captured the atmosphere and the emotions extraordinarily good. She not only made pictures but wanted to know as much as possible about the difficulties the patients face in their daily life and about their constant fight for light and against the authorities, which are withholding a life changing treatment.
Thank you Annie for your commitment – hopefully the next time we meet it will be out in the bright sunshine, under better light conditions for us as well as the photographer :-)"

I have many more Art nude pictures but my website provider does not allow any nudity. So you will have to request them directly from me if you want to see them.
'Annie has a very inquisitive attitude towards life and photography. She always tries to re-invent herself, and is always patient and gentle towards people. It was a pleasure doing the photo shoots with her and I’m very keen to see her future work and how much it will be developed from here.'
Moonlie Fong, MSc Course Officer at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine on the 28th of August 2015
'Annie took some pictures of me. She took many pictures and spent a lot of energy in accommodating me and making sure that I got what I wanted. She is very artistic and knows how to tease out the beauty in her subjects. I'll use her again, and whole heartedly reccommend her. Thank you Annie!'
